Okay, I downloaded, so I suppose I'm ought to leave a review too. First of, the melody is really nice, but a bit repetitive... I think that it'd be neat if you used a piano playing just a slightly different melody at some parts, so it wouldn't be the same thing all over again. Also, the triplet snare-drum started to work on my nerves after a few beats, and I think that I would've liked it better if it would just go um-tss after a few beats of build-up. That way, you could also make your track way longer, since you've got an extra place for a drop/buildup.

So, there's some critizism... And, why I've downloaded it? 1: It's got some great potential, and 2: It earns a great place in my next DJ mix.

Keep up the good work!

Dj-Gonzo responds:

Thanks a lot! :D

Yes, I know that my songs are sometimes repetitive, it costs A LOT, at least for me , making some changing progressions, but if you listen my firsts songs you'll notice that I've changed a lot too. Thanks for downloading! And if you use it for a DJ mix I'll be really proud! :D

Soon I'll return with other projects, so take a look to my audio page sometimes if you want!

If you really want to know: I prefer the second melody the most, but they all've got a lot of potential. I'm digging it.

I'm digging this!

Yeah, it's pretty neat. Too bad it's just a loop, there's so much potential for this track. I can hear the intro, the bridge and the outtro playing in my head already. But, still, I love it!

Keep mixin'!

Michael-Flaherty responds:

I'm thinking that I'll turn this into a full song soonish, I just need to work out a few more ideas. Anyway, thanks for the review, I love the input!

Seriously, I want a longer version!

I love this track! It's fast-pacing, action-packed, but... A bit too short in my opinion. Still, I'll download it.

I love it!

Maaaan, this is great! The composition, the melody, the buildups, just awesome! I've got one request, though: Could you make a version without the vocal sample? I found it really annoying, personally.

Keep making music!

Love the idea!

But, I'm not satisfied with the result yet. So, I'll be honest and point out what I dislike.

The idea is great believe me, but it's supposed to be Drum 'n' Bass, not acoustic guitar 'n' some synths. Besides the fact that I don't really like the drum samples you used (they're quite electronic sounding, which sounds quite odd with the quite natural acoustic guitar in my opinion), they're not nearly loud enough. Again, it's Drum 'n' Bass, so that's a lot of drum. And bass, I haven't heard any bass in this track either. ;)

But, yeah, that's my opinion on it. All with all, this track has a lot of potential, and you did a great job. It just missed a note on a few points, in my humble opinion.

Pocketpod responds:

Those are some good points. Thank you for your review!

@Megazers

@Darkangel013 is right, Daddy DJ created the lead melody (in the year 2000) before Basshunter used it in his never-released Daddy DJ remix, in "All I ever wanted" (2008) and in "Vi sitter i Ventrilo och spelar DotA", which is better known as "DotA" (2006). And, you don't have to curse just because someone doesn't appear to know something you know, just sayin'.

But, about the track, I love it! This isn't remastered, this is a full remix, and I'm digging it! Too bad that it isn't a song, though.

I love the melody

Isn't that the official soundtrack from The Matrix? Besides, very nice done, just a bit noisy for me.

Just another normal Newsgrounder. Mostly using my account to find music, because I really like the random function in here!
