It's trance!

Have to fave... No, must resist... Yes, have to fave... No, don't... Yes, fave...

Kieda responds:

Haha thanks =]

Cool!

Yeah, it's a nice fast-paved upbeat song, which would be perfect for a " my shadow's chasing me"-scene in movie. But, you should still work a little bit on the ending.

Anyway, keep mixing!

Hypergon702 responds:

Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you liked it. Yeah, I should have put more work into that ending. Nevertheless I'll keep mixing and getting better. That's why I'm here!

Not bad!

Well, I'm not really a huge fan of pop-like rock, but this is pretty neat. The instruments blend nice, and the chords are done well. Oh, and could I have the lyrics?

Keep working on it!

you should make a full song out of this

Yeah, I agree with 1gonu1. This is a nice master piece, full of action-based rock riffs and emotional piano-plays. There's just one "but": If you're making a full song, then at least try to play the distorted guitar yourself, since it's quite clear that this is a synth.

Anywho: Please make a song!

FEAST responds:

You can really tell the guitar is a synth lol? WTF? My amp is broken right now so I cant bust it out. What gave it away? The guitar is a real guitar sampled into a synth so its practically real....

I am making the full song right now and it is SICK. It would really help if someone had a quality kick drum sample by the way.

Anyways, mastering on this song is a biiiitttccchhhhh. So difficult to get separation.

Glad you like it. Bitch.

FL9 FTW!

Yeah, it's pretty nice! I mostly love the synth riff you brought in at 1:55, since it's the most clear and most positive sound. It reminds me of my first steps in Fruity Loops 8.

The only thing I would try to do better, are the noisy synths in the beginning, which give it a quite "mysterious" touch, which you aren't looking for. Oh, and I would do something about the outtro.

Anywho, keep mixing!

Not bad!

So, I'm not the only idiot around here messing with the demo of FL9? That's a relief.

But, to be honest, your music is quite more advanced than mine, but a bit overdone. The pad you used as a background fill-in, in example, almost overlays everything. And I didn't like the kick/clap either. Maybe you should go for something more simplistic.

Anyway, keep trying.

KingTornadoTalon911 responds:

Will try, And thanks fer the Information...
And for the review!!

Park bench? Epic silent space battle!

Yeah, it doesn't really fit the image of "sitting on a park bench", in my opinion. This mostly because the main synth (that distorted overlay thingy) is quite overdone, and because it is quite upbeat.

If you would have redone this one for some "flying through unknown galaxy's"-scene, I would have liked it way more.

Anyway, keep trying!

JRKnight responds:

In my opinion it doesnt really get upbeat until the second half of the song. It's actually pretty chill until then.

As l l u m a n s said, this was at 11:14 at night. In the middle of a park in my apartment complex with a perfect shot of the starry night sky. So, the galaxy is actually heavy inspiration for this song.

I appreciate your feedback, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it fully. :(

Sounds familiar...

Well, the idea is nice, but the guitar-synth is really overdone, and so is the beat. Sorry, buddy, but the 6 is just for the effort.

Anyway, keep trying.

xxxxblake responds:

Thanks for the feedback, yeah I'm a complete amateur at this stuff. I've got no idea, really... and the guitar is way too loud as well.

Cheers for writing a review, though.

Hmmm....

Well, it isn't bad, but not really my style. Can't blame you for that.
And I think you need a better drumloop, or is that just me?

Anywho, keep mixin'!

OpenLight responds:

Thanks for the review.

I don't use a preset drumloop in any of my songs, and I am already working on fixing the drums I am using. Hopefully that'll make my song sound a little better in that department.

Please check out my other stuff too! My stuff isn't all like this.

Thanks!

Nice!

It's not really my style, but I think I will appreciate it if there will be more songs in the ambientronica genre.

Keep mixin'!

dj-Nate responds:

Thanks man, there may be :)

Just another normal Newsgrounder. Mostly using my account to find music, because I really like the random function in here!
